Dr. Langille was born and raised in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.  After finishing High School she earned a degree in Physics from the University of King’s College in Halifax and a degree in Medicine from Dalhousie University.  She did a Residency in Family Medicine and a Certificate of Special Competence in Emergency Medicine in Ottawa.  She practised Family and Emergency Medicine in Lunenburg, rural Ontario, and in the United States for many years before joining Transport Canada as a Regional Aviation Medical Officer in 2009.  She earned a Diploma in Aviation Medicine and a Masters in Aviation Medicine from Kings College London.  Dr. Langille is the Regional Aviation Medical Officer for the Atlantic Canadian and Overseas Regions of Transport Canada.
